Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Highborne Kavalon Arbellason that is pronounced “Are-behl-lah-son.” Elves my use the familiar, Kavalon, when addressing me, others should use the formal, Arbellason. There is soon coming a time when you will all require the skills and services we Highborne possess and that is why I have chosen this time to appear before to you. As I am sure most of you are aware the Scourge destroyed much of my ancient society. I have come to help restore our honor while preserving the glory of our civilization. nnI am very proud of all my virtues and, of course, I have no vices. I count among my virtues a certain self-critical stance that does cause me to be critical of other people at times. I am cooperative but believe that cooperation is highly problematic. With whom should I cooperate, for how long, to accomplish what, and at how high a cost in spirit in the end? I have severe doubts about the objectivity and wisdom of the Blood Elf leadership. Why is it that the rank-and-file are giving our lives to defend our territory while Lord Satheril and his ilk collect hors d’oeuvres for some social event? nnFor thousands of years, the Elves have been split primarily into two groups, the scientific and technological Blood Elves who have mastered the power of magic and the mystical and aesthetic Night Elves who seek to be at one with nature yet fail to understand the corruptions that are invading their forests. This situation is tragic. A fellowship of Elves is what is needed, a shared spirit and hope for our future. We must repair this rift! nnUltimately, we will see Elves leave the Horde and Alliance and create their own third, far superior faction. This may be impossible today but we were pure in the past, and will be again in the future. Until then we must cooperate with the other races and at times accept distasteful tasks. We must grow our collective magical powers needed to succeed in this, the ultimate quest. All Elves must all develop a deeper appreciation for Elune, the only genuine deity worshipped in all of Azeroth. n nI have but one goal in my lifetime and that is to see that ALL Elves are reunited and regain our proper position as the premier, foremost race in all existence. As such, I will not take arms against a fellow elf regardless of affiliation unless stuck first.

Oracle, an oath to not raise arms against ANY Elf unless struck first would be a start.

A noble cause... I suppose... *shrugs*nnYou may find me an ally on the battlefield, but for this particular endeavor I'm afraid you may not wish to count me among such. I've killed members of both races in the past over nothing more than an escape from boredom, and while I've learned to abstain from such meaningless slaughter, a reunion of the races just doesn't sit well with me.nnSo while I'm an avid believer that Night Elves and Blood Elves have chosen opposite sides over irreconcilable differences and other matters which cannot be resolved without crippling compromises, I wish you the best of luck in your attempts to prove me wrong.
