"Lah, der be a free fer all in da Bard's Chamber. Yous best get over der afore dat new brudder gets hurt!" Tasera said in a rush, and seemed out of breath, as she was strapping her favorite gun to her back.

"Oh? And why would that be, pray tell?" Lah inquired, raising her eyes from the manuscript she had been reading.

"It be like dis Sistah," Tasera snorted. " 'E done been pokin folk wid dis stick, like some back woods jumjum, an 'e poked Silmeria wif it. A course Sil punched 'em in da throat. Den dat stick a 'is flew outta 'is hand 'n hit Warburn. Came running ta get yous, an me gun just about da time when bloodlust hit da crowd. I be thinkin gonna need both."

"Lord have mercy!!" Asarelah exclaimed, grabbing her spell book and looking up Mass Mind Soothe as she motioned Tasera to head out the front door.

On the run, Lah's hands were already half clenched in casting, when they arrived in the Bard's Chamber. She watched as Tas unstrapped her long gun, preparing to defend if need be. Putting a hand on Tas' shoulder, she said "don't shoot him yet, sis. Let me try and sort this out first!" Tas nodded agreement, but continued preparing her shot, just in case.....

Asarelah watched in horror as Warburn prepared to brain the new comer with what looked like a walking stick.

"Stop!" Lah shouted, as she finished her casting, making eye contact with as many as she could. "I don't know what has happened here, but from what I could hear Marlonis seeks to learn. While killing him may be one way to "train" him in the art of warcraft, surely there must be another alternative?"

She could hear Tasera snickering behind her, and watched as Silmeria spat, stomped a foot to kick up dust, and then strode briskly out the front entrance. Warburn looked at Lah with a thoughtful expression, and glanced down at the walking stick in his hand as if he had never seen it before, and wondered how it got there.

"Hmmm, mebe we send 'em ta Hristoforos fer da trainin.... It be lookin like Sil 'ld just kill 'em outright." Warburn nodded in the direction the enraged paladin had taken.
