Character's Theme Songs

While on the Twisting Nether, the Horde side's RP forum had a post about characters and their theme songs, so I decided to try that here as well. Whatever song you can think of that makes a suitable theme song for your character, don't hesitate to post it up! Here is a song to influence you!

One of Estemi's theme songs would have to be Yngwie Malmsteen's song "Vivace." I imagine Estemi sneaking up behind Alliance and striking them with surprise, enduring a long and challenging battle, then walking away with honor! I love instrumentals because you can always make what you want of them. Yngwie Malmsteen is one of my favorite musicians/guitarists and I absolutely love his style. Check him out!

Really? Yngwie? That is a fairly obscure artist, not really known outside the guitar community, at least in America. I am sure he is bigger in Europe and Japan.

For me? Probably something by Fear Factory or Korn. The same kind of thing I listen to when I go running. Face-punching music.

Or for my rogue, it would probably be "I Can't Make You Love Me" by George Michael. It is funny to get murdered to the sounds of George Michael.

Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and Eddie Van Halen are probably my other top favs. I love all types of music.

Wow.. Estemi.. I was listening to that song, and I pictured this entire scenario:

You were sneaking through a forest, and saw a Gnome fishing, then backstabbed him. He cried out in pain, jumped a few paces ahead, and started hurling fireballs at you. You began running back and forth in between fireballs towards him, and impaled him with your blade. Suddenly a whorde of guards come storming after you, and make chase. Then when the slow part comes, you are hiding from them, where they can't see you. Then you are back to your old game when they give up.

By the way, here is Redflare's theme song. I've always had trouble deciding between the two, so I'm just going to post the both up. "Metalingus" by Alterbridge, and "Alone I Break" by Korn.

The Korn song because of Red's troubled past, and Metalingus is his reprieve. There is another song that I like that I would put up, but I don't remember the name. I know it's a new song by Alterbridge, though.

Amazing! Simply amazing!

That music combines two of my favorite instrument types - Electric (distortion) Guitar and the Violin family (especially the lower pitched ones, in particular viola and cello). Thanks for posting that. Now I will have to go hunting for more of it.

As for Dhaarga's music, I can't find the exact one that suits him (I remember the tune but don't recall where it was from exactly). However, I am certain of the instrument that would be his theme - the drum. Many different types would be applicable, especially the Taiko drum and the Korean Jaenggo.

On a side note, this is a horrible horrible thread to start since now I am tempted to share a lot of my eclectic musical tastes, i.e. I like a lot of seemingly random stuff which I think is really cool and you should listen to it too. :P

So I will share one of my favorite musical genres (like the other 80 odd genres) that I like a lot: Symphonic Metal. Nightwish is a great band that plays this kind of music (combines good vocals with orchestral as well as metal instruments like drums and guitars).
