Wasn't this guys just promoted?

Yeah. He busted his butt to get promoted, then sat around doing nothing. As a result he was then demoted to Elder. Then over the course of 7 or so days he proceeded to slowly clean out what he could from the guild bank.. He deposited a few cut gems, I'm guessing to try to feel less guilty about what he was doing or something. I dunno.

It was brought to my attention by a guild member that was going to request one of the Nobles cards from the bank. He noticed it was missing, then checked the logs and saw what Sabata was up to and immediately reported it to me.

I don't think reporting this to a GM will work, because they will just say "Well, you trusted him with access to the bank." but it might be worth a try.. The stuff he took was worth quite a bit of gold.

I asked a friend at work who beat the World of Warcraft.
He said it happened twice to his guild. Open a ticket and after they make sure you're not lying they will (but I say "may") return the items.

What happens to Sabata will remain unknown.

We need to do this ASAP before he changes his name or transfers servers!

I am so sorry I didn't see this coming. I was watching the cash log on repairs, but not so much the item log lately. I have not logged on yet. Has be been spoken to, and has he left the guild?

And what access level do Elder's have? High, it looks like. Unfortunate. 8(

He earned Nyx's trust and then broke it that quickly.

Hopefully he will get his ass banned and that will be the end of his greedy double crossing @#%##$ on wow.

I tried playing dumb and whispered him last night (at the time the log showed he "left 1 day ago"). I whispered him "I see you left the guild. What happened? Is everything ok?"

No reply.

I made a loan to him out of my own funds. He made the first installment the next night. About a week later, he made a second installment. The guild bank record shows near perfect synchronicity with him reimbursing me. I feel more insulted right now considering he robbed the bank to reimburse me. I am wondering if he owes other players money.

edit: I am not trying to excuse or absolve him from this behavior. There is no excuse to help oneself to the communal cookie jar like that.

Im pretty sure this falls in line with griefing players which can result in getting your account looked at

If those reimbursements match up with items being removed from the guild bank, it's quite possible that we may never be able to recover those items, with them being sold on at the AH. =/

whoa! sorry to hear the bad news! Nyx has some great players with great influence. Just let some allies know, they'll hunt him down...shoots even make an RP event from this!
