Greetings *****,
Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.
We have investigated the player you have reported for scamming, and are taking the appropriate actions. Because of privacy concerns, we are unable to disclose the nature of the action taken.
Due to many variables involved with item reimbursement and types of scams, restoration is not guaranteed. We have made every effort to verify your particular case, but unfortunately, we were unable to provide the restoration of items or money. We are sorry for any inconvenience you may have been caused. While we will make every effort to provide assistance in cases of loss, the decision to go forward with a restoration is entirely at Blizzard's discretion.
Please refer to our Character & Item Restoration Policy (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article. ... leId=20457) for further details on recovering lost items.
Should you require further assistance, please submit another help request the next time you are online. We hope you continue to enjoy your experience in World of Warcraft!
Regards,
Threorith

Wish we could find out what "actions", if any, were taken.

Re: Sabata ninjaed our guild
Honestly, I fail to see why they can't give any information. Even something like "This player placed the items on the AH, after which they were purchased by an apparently unrelated and unwitting third party, and then used the gold to buy other items off the AH from equally unwitting auctioneers who weren't aware their items were being purchased with stolen cash" would be generic enough to not betray privacy.

Yeah, oi I wish they could give us some more detailed information.
On that note, has he even been on in the past few days? Or has he more then likely changed account names and information already to elude us?

Really now? Do any of the higher ups in Nyx intend to get in contact with the guild leaders? (I'm very surprised he didn't change his name and switch realms))

I contacted their leadership immediately after he joined. One of their officers thanked me for letting them know.. For some reason, he is still a member of Dark by Design. I suspect he may be a real life friend of one of their officers or something. Anyone else would have gkicked him.

No doubt he has a 'reasonable' explanation that they bought hook, line and sinker *shrug*

Re: Sabata ninjaed our guild
Is he defense attorney in real life or something?
What kind of excuse could you give that would justify ninjaing a guild bank. That's just silly on their part to fall for an excuse.
All well, it's the guilds own decision and loss I suppose. Let's just hope Sabata does not pull a similar act to them.
