Onyxia

Postby Warburn » Thu Aug 13, 2009 9:03 am

Lady Nyx was named after Onyxia by her father who was THE Highborne "dragon specialist". We have reason to believe that she even communed with Neltharion's daughter... before he went mad and betrayed the Dragonflights.

(( And now... Deathwing's daughter shall return!!!

Yeah there's a blurb on the wow site (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/und ... xia20.html).

It sounds like an awesome event, I'd like to see the mount for sure! :)

I love how they keep doing this though... heh.. Next expansion entry level raid:

"Sunwell Plateu is now a level 90 10/25man raid dungeon and is floating in the skies over Gilneas."

Either that or underwater Naxxramas. :p I've noticed that villains with apostrophes in their names never stay dead. :p

Kel'Thuzad, Anub'Arak, Kael'Thas, etc.

Never got to see Onyxia back in the day, so I'll certainly enjoy doing this. =)

I do think they should add an area to the CoT to allow those people intentionally stopping at 60 to continue raiding her, and the original Naxx. Seems just a little unfair to them, now that they've finally got a way to stop XP, that they'd do this.

The problem is, that wasn't really the reason that Blizzard implemented the XP shutoff, they did it so people would stop crying about getting the crap beat out of them by twinks.
