Careful Of Cataclysm Beta Scams

People are already being scammed because they thought they were getting into the cataclysm beta. Just a word of warning if you want to get into the beta Blizzard will announce when it's starting. Remember Only you can prevent account scam. Remember Cataclysm is a LONG, LONG< way out.

On a related note, are we, Nyx, part of the guild relations program? Will we be getting Beta Keys?

If I recall correctly from the Wrath beta you needed to opt-in on the WoW Official site. Once I got the email from the beta it wasn't super flashy. It was just a plain black and white email, just text no pictures. Be sure to check the email address from where it came.

We currently aren't. It's not something you can apply for directly. We would have to actively participate as a guild on the Guild Relations Forums and other things that are listed on http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/communit ... tions.html

Perhaps it is something we should consider. There are many benefits including access to Beta keys from the get go. I believe in the Sleeper Cartel (perenolde) we received over 100 keys for members.
