Fairwell for now ((Airrik's Depature))

Postby Airrik » Sun Oct 04, 2009 11:47 pm

((PLease see my backstory in the Bard's chamber for the Lore reasons of my leave.. Other than that, let me say out of character,

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT

My wife used to play wow, and quit.... I loved playing with her, and while she has not been playing, she has been reading lore, and has become taken with the night elf lore, and decided to play again! but she wants to be a night elf... Of course, I must play with her (She's my wife, duh) and am therefore changing my faction.

Everyone here has been great to me, and it pains me to go, but obviously I did not expect my wife to gain her love for warcraft again. IN GAME I hope to see you all on the battlefield, and OUT OF GAME you all garner my respect more than you know. Warcraft is often a place to come to have fun, but also to get away from the daily stress of life, all of you made this easier for sure.

THANK YOU ALL for fighting alongside of me.

From an RP perspective, I think you can appreciate what's happened to my character, and know that it's all a game, and in good fun.

Sincerely,

Eric, or as you know me (Airrik) [I know, creative, right?]

So why not just roll a shiny new night elf character?

Anyway.. You'll be missed in Nyx.. I've got a NElf hunter, Katarana, shoot me a tell sometime or add me to your friends list. Are you planning to keep the name Airrik?

Sweet.. You still gonna do the bartending thing too? Cuz she has her hearthstone bound in Dalaran.. Even if she is only lvl 30. :p

v v That too.. Ganking you will be entertaining if nothing else, especially if the rumors are true. : )

I am not only sorry to see you go, I'm sorry to hear you are thinking of going to join our enemies in the Kingship.

(( I know the Kingship probably have a lot of good people in it. But the alliance side RP community needs you more then KotE ))

You might want to contact Andenel from <Alshar lo Dorano> or Kendal from <House Blackstone>. Eloop is another one you might want to contact; he has been working with a number of other RP guilds on the Alliance side that are building an RP community outside of Kingship of the East.

((Thanks everyone for your input, I will in fact check in on these options. The only reason I am considering Kingship is because, well, mainly, it makes for one hell of a story doesn't it lorewise? :D ))

I highly support the Alshar option. They have my respect and would more then likely love to take in a medium-heavy roleplayer yourself.

The other aspect about the Al'shar that might appeal to your wife is their lore. It has close ties to night elf lore.

The top three topics have to do with their backstory as a guild: http://alshar.org/forum/viewforum.php?f ... 122d4108e9

The other reason I recommend them is because we have worked with them on RP in the past. If I can't have you as a guildie, I want the chance to meet you on the battlefield in an RP event :pursue:
