Remnants of the forsaken kingdom

New journal log page 1 : After the City fell to our enemy for a brief timennAs i walk through my home city, i see the remnants of my covent's art and literature broke and burnt in last nights wake of terror. Broken cadavers and skeletons of my people litter the streets. Broken swords and shattered shields on mangled lifeless bodies were everywhere the eye could see. There are now only 4 surviving members of the fel council; myself being being one of them. As i went through my quarters today i found my food was set free and most likely stole my possesions. While i go through what remains of my logs and journals most of which has either been taken or burned to ashes. I now find myself i kind of desperation for my kind; once there were many of us that became powerful together to built an empire. Now our numbers have dwindled to a few that can hold their own in the faces of our enemies and what is worse i believe that the horde is letting this happen in order to make us more docile to the whims of our supposed allies. The Horde even though we help them, serve beside them, have shown a lack of interest in helping the forsaken people and the defense of its territories on the eastern kingdoms. nnThe last of the citizenship voted today and it has been decided to put all our efforts in finding a way through the Apothecarium to mass produce the elixir of unlife in order to raise our numbers and bolster our defenses. One of our first experiments, Avalanä she has come to call herself, my new life partner and heir to my second life possesions agrees that the living of this land is more of a scourge than the armies of the Lich King. Many believe that it maybe not morally right, but we would rather live with the guilt of bringing the dead that found peace in their initail deaths; will rise and serve in a new life, than to simply watch as the forsaken race go quietly into the night of time.nnI Warren Zenatine Stonefield have been ordered by My leader, the Dark Lady herself whom some how escaped the onslaught in her chambers has put forth a task for to complete; I am to delve into the shadows of the abyss and find the powers i can to save our people from certain destruction. I am to use what ever means necessary to obtain and bring back what ever i deem worthy to help our people. My only lead thus far, is to find the lesser artifact known simply as the book of Magae, the same book that was used in order to bring Archimond into this world during the third war. It's dark demonic powers contained in its pages will allow me to find a way to solidify our war-torn borders. I pray for the sakes of any living soul that comes between me and my mission. I shall not take prisoners on this mission, friends may not be trusted at this current time as they may try to steal the power i am seeking to benefit their own ambitions. I now start my journey in battle-torn land of hillsbrad to find what clues i can of where the book may have went to after its use almost a decade ago.nnWarzen, The Soulhunter
