Warburn's ongoing spirit quest

Postby Warburn » Thu Mar 06, 2008 5:15 pm

Jah mon,
Even dah mastah of dah elements, a grand mastah of dah juju arts, an esteemed nightwarder of Our Dark Lady Nyx, has a nevah endin spirit quest. Tis dah way Dah Lady taught us... tah always strive fo bettah... to be stronger, wiser, to be dah best!

I be tellin yooz all dis, cuz dat's what I be doin. I'z am workin hard on what really mattahs - studyin dah elements, dere relationship to all life, and mos' importantly mah own relationship wit dah universe.

Dis be why yooz not seein me 'round. I can't say where I am, but I shall always visit, when I can.

(( RL stuff. Serious RL stuff. Good RL stuff... are keeping me offline. Working hard at work, buying my first home up on a hill in San Francisco (scary and exciting at the same time), meeting chicks and going out. Life is good.

So I am sorry I haven't been contributing as much lately. I figure my 2 year career as an officer of Nyx has earned me some vacation time from the responsibilities here-in. I am proud of what we have accomplished lately, and of all of you. Our new blood of officers has really helped push us forward, and all of you combined, new and old members alike are what make this guild the best there is! ))

While's I be out, please keep an eye out fo' mah nephew, Musta'Krakesh and Azim dah Mighty's bastard son- Zigzog. Dey know how to get intah trouble, and I'z not around tah bail dem out.

One love.
Jah love!

I was starting to wonder where you had disappeared to, Warburn. I am glad to hear you are well and look forward to the knowledge you will bring back after your studies are complete. I will do what I can to keep an eye on Azim, Zigzog and Musta'Krakesh.

(( You have been missed, and I'm glad to hear it has been for a good cause. Hope you have a great vacation from officerhood in Nyx! Yes, I do think you have earned a vacation. I know as well as anybody how much work it is, and I am sure it was a huge undertaking keeping Nyx going and rebuilding it last year. It must have been extremely draining. I'm looking forward to a rested and revitalized Warburn after you come back to play more. ))

Well, I suppose that we can let you have some time off. I mean, keeping those young ones in line is a chore that I hardly look forward to delegating to Yaen'gohl, but one does what one can. Frankly, I feel that this getting to know the elements is really about finding the right spa. After our recent trip through Zul'Gurub, I must say that even the Amani are better prepared for dealing with the needs of a weary traveller.

Oh, don't bring me some lame tabard that reads something like, "My shaman summoned an elder god and all I got was this lousy tabard." It would just take up more room in my closet, and it can barely keep on its hinges at present levels.

((Take care, and take time for yourself. Tifani and I bought a house, and that was a hellish experience; I only wish the end result on people - not the journey. Hopefully as is going well with that. Whereabouts is the house? Bay view?

If you get it, let me know. I'll send you a house warming present. :brewfest:

Good luck with the female members of the human tribe. I hear there rough on a man, but I'm sure you'll find the right one.

Take care, and check in with us.))

Well, back to shopping for some jewelry to match my new goggles.
