nnValid point there, do we know all the changes Blizz is expecting to implement - and are committed too - up to date?Grawlix wrote:It's worth mentioning, I think, that many, many aspects of guild management are going to change with Cataclysm. nnI don't know what's going to make the final cut in Cata but as I understand it, the guild rewards and such are going to exascerbate the problem discussed in this thread. If people are unhappy with layabouts now, wait until some freeload their way to tangible benefits of membership. This is probably a good time to sift through these issues. nnI think guild leveling got scrapped (or did it - I don't follow the beta news too closely since the news becomes obsolete so quickly *cough dance studio/path of the titans) but I thought I heard there are still going to be guild talents or goodies.Grawlix wrote:It's worth mentioning, I think, that many, many aspects of guild management are going to change with Cataclysm. 3. Handling Trials new sub ward ( sub-trials ) : A ward for players who want to be in trials but are either not geared enough to join the main raids or not active enough to join these raids in the first place.

It looks to me that Warzen made this entire thread academic, with the sub-Ward designation for personnel within each Ward.nnIF everyone is in agreement, then the Ward leaders simply need to survey their rosters, and "bump" everyone needed to a sub-<Ward> tag on the in game socials tab, then "clean house" from there.nnThis does not necessitate any real structural changes, and we shall have a precise picture of who is active within their own ward and who is not. Then go from there.nnFirst things first.

Re: The Nursery, a fifth ward.
I am in agreement of this. So after some discussion with each Ward member, if it's found that they are not as active as they need to be in the Ward... then , just to clarify, I should make their guild tag look like this ? nnn<G&N>ninstead of nnG&Nnnbasically adding brackets around the ward name ?
