nnnthats a true statement i fear! The alien grew bored with my body and decided to depart the world of emerald dream! Who knows where they left her T_Tnnupdate:nI was able to get my account back through the 'forgot password' function and answering my security questions. upon login on wow all my toons been deleted and new ones made in servers starting from the bottom of the server name list working there way up. Nothing additional has happened since i was able to retrieve my account but i have heard nothing from blizzard yet except automated response on thanking me for letting them know of the problem. does anyone know how long this normally takes?nn~asp~

You've became a subject of gold farming body snatching! /cry nnI hear it varies on how long it takes them, I'd guess with the higher volume of people getting hacked, it may be a few days nnI hope you get everything back. I really do. and you know I'll bust my butt trying to help you get back anything, that isn't restored.

When I was hacked, granted I was lucky enough to not have my characters deleted, but I had stopped the hacker by changing my password and email address associated with it. I did the email change after I made sure there was nothing on my computer. nnYou'll have to call Blizzard. I know it's a pain to get through to them but once you do explain to them what has happened. You'll be sent to another person who will pretty much become your personal support throughout this. For me, my account was suspended, and during this process Blizzard changed my password several times which alarmed me because I kept getting emails about it. Overall I was out of game for about three days (but couldn't raid and my friends sent me some gold to buy things for my hunter, since my priest was stripped clean), then the process of restoration began. That process took about a week, and it's then and only then that you realize exactly how much crap you really own in the game.nnJust keep in touch with Blizzard. They will work with you, just give it time. *hugs*
