Hosting a huge RP Event

I want our guild to host such a large RP event in Shattrath that even the Alliance are talking about it on the forums(even though they have no idea what we're saying)... now open to suggestions. I'm willing to host and organize, but we need ideas first.

Perhaps a 500 lap race around shatt? How many worn running shoes do we have? (It's one of the grey BG drops) :P

Another idea is a march in formation with a commander leading, doing the same thing that the NPCs do, but that's a little bland.

I want an RP hunt for the warlocks that have been infecting the Horde with demon-speak (aka those that don't speak IC in /s and those that harrass RP-ers). We could kill all the Alliance warlocks we can find in each zone, and RP with every Horde we meet to ask if they have seen any warlocks. We could also talk to Horde warlocks and ask them if they are familiar with how to infect Alliance with this malady and how it might be cured among the Horde. We could split into different groups according to level if we had enough. This would give us world RP and world PVP in the same package

Funny I run into such a thread just now on the forums! I've actually been working on a Shattrath RP event for the guild with a friend! We're still finishing up a few preparations for the event. Information will be released soon!

Rp event would be fun, but in Shattrath. Considering the amount of people there, including the lag and non-rpers. Would it be the best place to host an RP event? Anyways, looking forward to when a date is setup

The lag might be a problem, but we need to bring RP out of the shadows and do it in public. I am working on a post on how to report RP griefers. According to Blizzard, they expect the RP community to police RP griefing by reporting it. Until recently, I didn't know how to do it and I would not be surprised to find out that others don't either. I hope people don't report minor problems, though. That will have the effect of the boy who cried wolf and make it less likely for GM's to take reports seriously.
