Current State of the Ward of Lore?
With Swan and Drac's recent departure, has there been any talk of who will lead the ward, and what the future may hold for its members?

Re: Current State of the Ward of Lore?
Yes. Aitana and I talked about it. The two of us will lead it for the time being. The vacuum Swan and Drac are leaving will be noticeable however I am confident we can still enjoy our selves, and continue to push this ward further. While we look for new Umbral Champions and Nightwarders for the ward of Lore events will continue.nnWe have an RP campaign we've been rolling out very gradually, it started with Lady Nyx's departure on her personal quest for answers. It involves Lady Nyx, the rumblings and bad tidings for Azeroth... it will lead us into Cataclysm. The plot outline will be posted OOC, and a forum open RP thread will also pop up soon for everyone to be part of. This campaign is for the guild, as a whole to participate in.nnWhat we can all do is to continue to chat in character as much as possible, especially in gchat. And if anyone has any ideas for an RP event please PM the Oracles and we'd be happy to help you schedule and/or run it.nnRESPEKT!

Just an idea I'm gonna throw out there that might encourage more RP. A guild I was in on another server allows ALL of their members to use officer chat and uses that for OOC communication while /g is used solely for RP. Officer discussions take place in Ventrilo.

Well this certainly gives me the opportunity to apply again for umbral champion. Shame to see Swan and Drac go though :<

((I think it would be amazing to start a RP storyline that will tie in directly with the release of Cataclysm. I am assured by my housemate that I will soon be able to download the friends and family version of Cataclysm, and through this I would love to work backwards to create direct ties into the changes that come about for the rest of the guild.))

Actually Lucius I believe Drac and Swan were attempting to do exactly that before they left. The last event I followed them into was a Moulten Core RP raid, trying to find the source of sudden, recent tremors being felt around Azeroth. The idea, I believe, was to cover as much of the old world lore and have it eventually lead into the events that would be Cataclysm.

Thanoss is correct. I am going to schedule a meeting of the Ward of Lore so we can discuss this and other matters in the interim until we have new leadership in this Ward. Currently we already have an event planned for next week. It will most likely be the following week.

Trying to help out Lore as much as I can.nnLore needs to be a bit smoother on accepting and processing guild event ideas.nHonestly I feel awkward about approaching anybody with an event suggestion, either because I'm far too grand and impossible in scale, or any RP ideas never reach full fruition.
